Do you eat sushi because it's delicious or because it's considered "fashionable"?

sorry, random question but I was just curious. about half the ppl I know says sushi is their fav. I like it but why is it so popular? lol thanks for answering in advance. (:

I think people have their own reasons for eating it. some think it's fashionable while some truly like it. I personally think it's overrated, and I really don't eat any food for it's fashionability. I guess some really conceited people could think that what they eat has something to do with image.
