Caterpillars on my tomatoes???!

Caterpillars on my tomatoes???

I was clipping my tomatoes and i found caterpillar looking green things that blend with tthe tomatoe on the stems. Siome of them have white looking egg things on the botom of them. They are almost engraved in the stems. Is this normal do i need to do anything??? Best answer to the reason or what i should do.

Do something. They're tomato horn worms, and will devour the tomatoes when they ripen. Best thing is to pick off by hand, but at least use a mild insecticide. Some people swear by soaking HOT red pepper flakes in water, and then spraying the plants with the water. I don't know, I've never tried that one.
