How can you get the plastic taste out of a coffee pot?!

Question:

How can you get the plastic taste out of a coffee pot?

I have heard that running vinegar or lemonade through it takes the new plastic taste out, probably the acidity, but any suggestions? I'm sick of my coffee tasting like polyeurothane.

Answers:

I use a product called BREW RITE cleaner.
It cleans better then vinegar,Removes Hidden deposits,Improves Brewing time,Non Acidic, and no harmful residue. It comes in a white bottle with red lid (like vitamin bottle)
Instructions on how to use are on the back of the bottle
I bought mine at Walmart in the small appliance (coffee makers) section. It may also be where the coffee filters are too but definitely where the coffee makers are.
