Is it true thorntons chocolates shops prefer not to employ black people?

I've been told that thorntons are reluctant to employ black staff in their shop after a few customers complained they were unable to see if they had successfully washed off any chocolate due to skin colour. most of my black friends have heard the story but is it really true or just in a small number of shops.


Answers:

Sounds awful, but I have to say I have been in a lot of their shops and never seen any one other than - white - women - over 50 - maybe someone should challenge them on this?
