Making a spinach crabmeat dip. Only cheese in house is provalone, cheddar & mozzerela?!

Question:

Making a spinach crabmeat dip. Only cheese in house is provalone, cheddar & mozzerela?

and parm which i'll use. does provalone work in this dip?

Answers:

Provalone is too strong for your dip--but the parmesan, by itself should be enough. The cheddar won't help the crabmeat and the mozzarella will not have the right texture or taste to improve your dish, if you are serving it cold or room temp.

If this is a hot dip, then the mozzarella plus parm might be OK.
