Question:

Had some honey, with comb, from a few years ago in the back of my cobbard, is that bees wax?

I had some honey, with comb, from a few years ago in the back of my cobbard, at the bottom of the jar was this really thick stuff at the bottom. It was a lighter color than the honey, but wasnt clear.

Is that beeswax?

Answers:

No, it wasn't bees wax(most likely), unless the comb had broken into small pieces. It was probably crystallized sugars from the honey separating to the bottom. Crystallized sugars in honey are sweet, grainy and opaque.
