What is the different between pasta & spaghetti?!

What is the different between pasta & spaghetti?

Answers:

Pasta is the category word.

All forms of pasta--spaghetti, rotini, potato gnocchi, manicotti, wide egg noodles, etc. are different "forms" of
a pasta...something that is formed, made, up, rolled up or presented in sheets for use as a wheat product, potato product, etc.

Spagjetti refers to one long thin form of pasta. I prefer to use thin sp[aghetti and cut that into thirds.
