What is halal?!

Question:

What is halal?

What is it, what does it mean?

Answers:

Alrite. First of all "Halal" is an islamic term which is used among muslims. I am just gonna tell u in short so that u have an idea of what it is. So anyway, there are two kinds of terms in Islam, "Halal" and "Haram". Halal basically means the stuff, food etc that can be used or eaten by muslims in general. If something is Halal, that means it is allowed in Islam. While if something is Haram, it means forbidden. Like pork for example, its Haram in Islam so muslims cant eat it or touch it. I dont wanna go in detail now, since ur question only limits to answer the definition of Halal, which i explained.

So again, Halal means anything that is allowed (fruits, vegetables, pulses, beef etc), while Haram is its opposite, means anything that is not allowed (e.g pork, gelatin etc).
