Former Chef wants to be on TV show?

I am a FORMER (note NOT current!) Chef and I want to be on Americas Top Chef or something similar. What would be involed in doing this? I have the talent!

No you don't! You are a former chef because you got fired, something you do is wrong or else you would have your own show would you?
