The typical English breakfast is a plate of cereal and a fry-up.
The cereal is poured into a bowl and covered with milk and sprinkled with sugar or honey. This is accompanied by a mug of strong sweet tea with a dash of milk.
The rest is two eggs, three rashers of streaky bacon, two sliced tomatoes (sprinkled with sugar and salt before cooking), two sausages and half a cup of Heinz baked beans-don't use American or Aussie beans. The beans are heated separately and the rest is fried in Olive oil. (Used to be lard before heart-attacks were invented). This lot is served with fried bread in the same used oil or two slices of toast. Left over bread is coated with butter plus jam or mamalade. Now you've made me hungry so I 'll rush off and get some scoff. Cheers.
