Favorite type of tree nut?
Ohh..so hard to choose just one.
Macadamias, heaven, oily thick, full of flavor, so very buttery.
Pecans, southern, home, matches with so many fruits and light brandies make incredible pies.
Pistachios. pleasant, green, fun, great on picnics.
pepitas, light, healthy, good on salad, good on grilled meats, good in soups.
Pine nuts, pizzas, pastas, pesto sauce! olivio without pine nuts?
walnuts, in chocolate chunky butter cookies, nothing helps a cold like a warm milk with honey and a few cookies.
What about almonds, wholesome, wonderful, reliable in dozens of recipes and adored as matzipan!
Hazelnuts? I mean who dislikes hazelnuts? toasted, roasted, warm, ground up on whipped cream and milkshakes, incredible in truffles, with mushrooms, with berries. \
I'm torn.
