Does tilipia eat poo?

My boyfriend says that tilipia are bottom-feeders. This isn't true, is it? I always thought they ate plants.


Answers:

all talapia that you eat are farm raised so no, they eat grain pellets. Who cares anyway, there pretty good eating.
