Is it healthier to eat oil cooked in the microwave or on the stove? Or is it the same?!

Question:

Is it healthier to eat oil cooked in the microwave or on the stove? Or is it the same?

I am having an arguement. Is eating oil cooked on the stove have the same exact effects as eating it when it's cooked in the microwave, or is it healthier when you cook it in the microwave. Thanks!!!

Answers:

It doesn't matter - you are not changing the chemistry in any different way between cooking mediums. It is worth noting, however, that when cooking with olive oil, it is best to use pure olive oil, not extra virgin, as E.V. converts more to saturated fats than pure. Extra virgin is best used in dressings, toppings, or sauces, where it is subject to less or no heat.
