Why is halloumi cheese so addictive? Whenever I am stressed, it is my culinary valium.?

LOL Do you like the rubbery texture, or the salt? Interestingly, cheese (all kinds) contains some tryptophan, which has a sedative effect on brain chemistry. Have you tried halloumi saganaki? Fry slices of halloumi in moderately hot frying pan, turning once, until golden crispy on both sides. Excellent with ouzo ;-)
