Do you also slice bread crookedly?!

Question:

Do you also slice bread crookedly?

Answers:

When people buy loaves of bread, then slice it themselves, it happens ALL the time. Its natural. Holding your hands at you sides, the fingers naturally curl and the hands tend to be at an angle. When a person puts a knife in his/her hand, for one reason or another, the knife is held at an angle. Although we would like to be able to perfectly slice bread each and every time, its pretty hard to do.

Because knife blades are straight, its kind of hard. If you want to take the extra time to cut the bread in a crooked way, you can certainly do it. When you put the cubes/slices in a bowl, add wet ingredients and mix up everything, no one can really tell the difference can they?

Do you think any one will look at your bread cubes/slices and say to others or to you, “Crazyzebra’s bread cubes are beautiful” OR “Crazyzebra, you sure make great-looking/beautiful crooked bread cubes!

I’ve been cooking over 50 years and no one ever made a remark about the way I cut my bread cubes.
