I made Chili today, but I did not drain the fat from the ground beef?!

Question:

I made Chili today, but I did not drain the fat from the ground beef?

because I like the flavor. Do you always drain the ground beef when you make it?

Answers:

If you used a leaner cut of ground beef, you probably dont need to drain it. Also since you are making a sauce, most of it will probably get mixed up. If it still sits on the top - you should just spoon or suction off the excess with a turkey baster.
