Are these crawfish ok to eat?!

Are these crawfish ok to eat?

I bought some boiled crawfish (still hot) from a vendor in the parking lot of our grocery store. I took them home for my son because he loves crawfish. The smell on the way home just about made me sick. When pulling them apart, some are yellowish white inside and some are greyish black. I have only eaten them once 15 yrs ago, so don't know what they are supposed to look like or smell like. How do you know if they are bad??

Yellowish white is good to eat.Don't eat the grayish black ones!!! yellowish white is just the meat.the balck and grey or something is old.
