and white rice from every place I've ever been to smells that way to me

I think white rice smells like water chesnuts, but now that I think about it, i do remember going to the zoo once and thinking "It smells like rice here!" Although I don't remember if that had anything to do with elephants at all. And good luck finding anyone else who agrees...... most people don't even think white rice has a smell. You have to be very good at smelling or very good at noticing things to think that.
