I used half a jar of alfredo sauce and I was saving the rest and it has been in the fridge for about a week and a half. It doesn't say anything on the jar about how long it stays fresh after opening.

Answers:

I am a former chef and as they use pasturized cream and other products, 7-14 days is no problem, make sure when you use it to heat it thoughly, even in the mcrowave, as the heat is more intense.

If it has gone off it will separate, and look foamy when hot and have very strong yeasty smell, do not put a dirty spoon or your finger in to taste it as this spreads bacteria and can make it sour quicker.
