Grapes and Berries?!

Question:

Grapes and Berries?

Are there any significant differences when it comes to berries and grapes?

Answers:

Healthwise, many berries have deeper pigments which lead to higher amounts of anti-oxident levels than other fruits including grapes.

For example, Blueberries have about 3.5 times the ORAC score of red grapes. ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) is a common way to measure anti-oxident levels in food. Of all foods, the single highest ORAC score was measured for the Acai berry (found in the Amazon Rain Forest). The Acai berry is 1027 ORAC per gram (10 times the ORAC score of blueberries).
