How do you get a strong smell out of food containers?!


Question:

How do you get a strong smell out of food containers?

I had a plastic container of sauerkraut and one of garlicky bean salad. They still stink after I washed them and soaked them overnight in dawn and hot h2o. Any suggestions besides throwing them away?


Answers:

Let it soak in bleach and water.
