Chicken in fridge past the use/freeze by date?!

Chicken in fridge past the use/freeze by date?

Hey, I've got some chicken that sat OPEN (exposed to air) in my fridge and the "use or freeze by date" is September 8. Well, it is now September 11, 3 days after the date. It doesn't smell too funky but it doesn't look 100% either. Is this a must toss, or is it salvageable?

I wouldn't take any chances.. toss it!!
