Good invention?: rectangular box with holes in top offset from sides to capture dust in boxes of cereal?
You know that dust that accumulates in the bottom of your box of cereal - well you could have a box down there with holes in the top that the dust would sift through and then be captured within the box, so you could tilt the box to get more cereal without the dust. The boxes would be sold to the cereal companies to install, you wouldn't put it in, and it could be made cheaply.
Great idea or not? You decide below . . .

That's why the holes would be offset from the sides - that would give a border that would trap the cereal dust when you tilted the box. And this could be made from cardboard, so I don't think it would add much to the cost . . . but I could sell containers that people could use at home instead.

Good idea. I still don't understand why they dont use press & seal bags inside the boxes to keep the cereal fresher - especially if you live by the sea.
Now....what do we do with all that cereal dust? With people starving, would it be right to just throw it away?
