Why have my taste buds changed from sweet to savoury as if overnight?!!?!

Question:

Why have my taste buds changed from sweet to savoury as if overnight?!!?

Hey guys.. this is a bizarre one- I've always had a sweet tooth but not one with lots of chocolate even stuff like fruit and yoghurt coated banana's etc and as if by overnight I am now craving savoury food- something which never happens! Always after a meal i.e. today lunchtime I had a bageautte... usually I crave something a little sweet now I don't or I'll want one or two twiglets!
What the hell is going on!!!??? Help!
I recently turned pesco vegetarian but I don't think that should malke any difference as I didn't stop eating sweet stuff!! Any ideas? Another example is I like the yoghurt coated raisins you get from Love Juice bars and I ate a little packet the other day and experienced such a sugar rush I felt ill and don't want to repeat that again!!! Plus I eat muesli for breakfast every morning... but now I don't like it as much and would prefer something savoury... any ideas on that???!!

NB- I don't think I am pregnant guys! Really unlikely! I can assure you unless its a miracle I am not!! And I don't have a boyfriend either!!

With the muesli thing it's Jordans crunchy muesli I normally eat for breakfast and I don't think it is sweetened but the fruit is quite sweet (I am even finding bananas very sweet lately!!!! And fruits preferring veg!)

I like Marmite on toast but not a huge fan of toast in morning only on occasions (I am used to cereal and milk) so maybe I should try boiled egg and soldiers (I used to have that when I was little!!!) Anyone else enjoy various savoury breakfasts? Or has tips? Mushrooms on toast would probably be strange??

Answers:

You'd be surprised... this is not unusual. Your tastes will shift every 7 to 9 years or so. What you didn't like as a 15 year old might really get you going as a 21 year old. Most of my friends have commented on this phenomenon.

I've seen this in my own life. I've found myself eating things that made me nearly ill when I was a teenager, like sushi and thai food, and I love them now. It's not unusual for your tastes to change. Just go with it and explore this new-found 'world'. Eventually, things will even out.
