Is there an opposite of vegetarian?!

Question:

Is there an opposite of vegetarian?

Is there such a thing as someone who only eats meat & no veg?. If so are they called carnitarians, or maybe meatiarians?

Answers:

Carnivore is correct term.

The Inuit are one of a few Arctic cultures whom eat solely meat. They get all of their nutrition from fish, seals, whales, walrus... etc. and they do not need any fruits or vegetables since they use the ENTIRE animal.... fat, hide, brains, stomach, entrails and all.

They maintain perfect nutritional balance because the animals that they consume ate a balanced diet, and that animal's prey ate a balanced diet and so on down the food chain. This is also how other carnivorous animals stay healthy without supplementing their diets with non-meat foods.

They have actually shown that the Inuit diet, high in the good fats, is better for people's health and hearts than most human diets.
