Do tomatoes have glucose in them?!

Question:

Do tomatoes have glucose in them?

Answers:

I am a former chef and technically there is not sugar of any kind in raw tomatoes, canned usually have some salt and ascorbic acid in them to aid in tinning.

But natural sugars in any fruit or veg are not glucose or glucoide based, I am also diabetic and I can have 2 whole tomatos a day, some people when make certain things may add a sugar to add sweetness or aid in the flavour of the sauce or product they are making, but you can rest assured they will not raise you blood sugar levels.
