Orange Juice?

I want to make homemade orange juice. After I juice the oranges do I need to add sugar to sweeten it up or does it have natural sweetness?

I never knew until recently that there are several kinds of oranges. Some are better for making juice than others. Florida Valencias, which are available in the middle of the orange season, are considered the best juice oranges. Some oranges have a tendency to turn bitter after the juice sits a while, so you must use quickly. I would look at the type of orange and whether it is a juice orange or an "eating" orange and then determine whether you feel you need to add sugar.
