Answers:
Look in your local phone booth and find the number for your local Girl Scout Council. Call them and ask if they have any leftovers. The councils always order too many and sell them in their stores.
You can also check Ebay, but beware. Make sure to ask the seller if the cookies have been frozen or refrigerated. If they're more than a month old and haven't been kept cold, chances are they aren't very good.
Girl scouts aren't really supposed to sell cookies online, but many parents do it to get rid of the extras. You can also check with the leaders. Many troops buy extra cookies to sell in a booth. Any left over after the booth, the troop has to buy. Sometimes they still have them months after the actual sale.
I live in St. Louis and we don't sell our cookies until January, but I know that Illinois sells theirs in October, so you might be able to get some from them.
Good luck!
