Is it me or have meat changed.?!

Question:

Is it me or have meat changed.?

Growing up I don't remember seeing blood in meat when it's cooking. How do you get the blood out? It totally gross me out.

Someone told me to soak in Clorox, which really gross me out - eating blood and bleach!

Answers:

Liquid blood is always in meat unless the meat either butcher in a kosher process or is dry-aged.

It is not recommended that you soak the meat in Clorox, so try dry-aging. The Food Network website has information on how to dry aged.
