Im On A Swim Team And Thats What I Drink During Pratice.
Today A Lunch My Friend Told Me It Was Bad For You?

Answers: My mom is a retired coach (swim and tennis). She would have her players drink DILUTED gatorade. You drink 1/2 water 1/2 gatorade. Straight Gatorade is just too much for your system.
That was her theory after 20 or so years of coaching. :) The best drink for athletes - and everyone - is water. Gatorade is loaded with sugar and salt so that is why something like water would be a much better choice than Gatorade would be. Water is sugar free and caffeine free and it helps to hydrate you when you have been out exercising or been working out very hard like an athlete does.
