Could anyone help me find this certain type of ice cream?
Im sorry but i dont remember much details but i remember a couple years back i ate this really good ice cream. It wasnt like any normal one cuz i remember it was on a plate or something. and it either looked like a long loaf of break or something. [something around 9 - 12 in i would say].
it wasnt ice cream cake it was all ice cream i think there was some chocolate as well... if anyone could please tell me what it is it would be nice :)
Answers: I think the brand name was Viennetta and you should be able to find it in the local grocers either by the ice cream or frozen cake/pie section. I know what you are talking about. I loved it to.
http://www.unilever.co.uk/ourbrands/food... I would guess this was Italian Ice cream, it is Gellato, you can find it in the freezer in large supermarket,,,,,,its rich and creamy, and superior to our american ice cream, more expensive also.....good luck......... cassata i think so hope so u got the answer sounds like Vienetta to me, but really that's just a guess. Carvel sells something called an ice cream log. You cut it instead of scoop it and it comes in different flavors. It's made to go with their cakes and it's sooooo yummy. I find them in our grocery store next to the ice cream cakes. Good luck!
