SWINE Good for you ?????!

Question:

SWINE Good for you ?????

Cows have ecoli & other crap, poultry can be very dangerous too in the market. All these cases of bad meat & chicken & even vegetables. How is we never hear of a fatality from a pork chop. I have yet to see them pull infected bacon. Why is the swine which people claim dirty, not hurt anyone. Im gonna go make a ham sandwich while you guys answer.

Answers: Pork is significantly healthier for you than beef, and it is less prone to contamination like chicken.

While it is still a possibility that pork contains trichinosis, it is VERY outdated to assume that all pork must be cooked well-done. Medium is the preferred method amongst the culinary community these days.

Modern pig farms are far more sanitary than cow or chicken farms. make sure the pork or ham is well cooked. pigs carry parasites that can make you sick if the meat isn't cooked enough. There is a serious parasite that you can contract from eating uncooked pork. It is called trichinosis. If you contract this, the parasite causes intestinal problems and can attack your heart. Always be sure to cook all pork products thoroughly.
