What is Fluff???

Was watching this episode of Wife Swap and the kid wanted to buy fluff in the weekly shopping....What is it?? it comes in a jar and looks kinda white.Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but its bugging me...have never heard of it...

Answers: It's marshmallow fluff.

It's like whipped up marshmallows instead of individual marshmallows. The usual use is for "fluffer-nutters", which are sandwiches made with marshmallow fluff and peanut butter, or Fantasy Fudge, which is fudge made with marshmallow fluff and chocolate instead of the stuff you boil on the stove for like an hour. It is a marshmallow product that many people use to put on sandwiches with peanut butter, jam, etc. Never heard of it either - but as a guess was it instant whip dessert mix? Is it cotton wool, possibly? i dont know good question Fluff is basiclly just marshmellows that are whipped up to a cream. I saw a Presenter on the TV eating this out of a jar with a spoon. I've never seen it in real life.
I found a website. It's marshmallow creme made from corn syrup, sugar syrup, vanilla flavor, and egg white. Obviously not a healthy food! Marshmallow cream in a jar Its like melted marshmallows. Make yourself a fluffa-nutter sandwich. Peanut butter and fluff. They have Raspberry flavor now. It is used in fudge, frostings, fillings for turnovers. Its yummy. I am originally from Maine, and it was a constant thing in the cupboard. We moved to Mississippi. We had to bring it down woth us and have it sent. I am guessing form the climate difference it was hard to keep fresh. I know that it didnt take long down there for it to get tougher and crystalized.
Its is a great snack on saltine crackers when you have nothing to curb those sweet-tooth attacks. MMM and put a dollop on your hot cocoa. For adults only, use as a body paste. Stick chocolates, cookies(I used animal crackers, LOL and a story for each animal REMOVED wink wink).
Go find yourself some. I am not for sure the exact ingredients, but it is sweet and tasty.

MARSHMALLOW FLUFF ICING

1 lb. of butter (no substitutes)
2 jars marshmallow creme
1 lb. box 10x sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat butter until creamy. Add marshmallow fluff and incorporate into butter. Slowly add 10x sugar and vanilla. Continue beating until light and fluffy. DELICIOUS! In the US it is called Marshmallow Cream, in Europe it is called Fluff or Marshmallow Fluff.

Bert It's Marshmallow Creme. Kraft makes a brand that is available more widely nationwide. (Makes great fudge)

Fluff is just another brand. In fact a peanut butter & Fluff (marshmallow creme) sandwich is called a fluffer nutter. We have some Fluff in our kitchen cabinet now. marshmallow fluff

Put it on your peanut butter sandwich instead of jelly - yum yum! He is (or was) a DJ, unfortunately he has departed now, he was well thought of... It's a spread for sandwiches etc ... you can buy it in Sainsbury's (or other 'leading' supermarkets lol)
