Burritos or corndogs?!
Burritos or corndogs?
Answers: It really depends...on three things really. Time of year, Pairing, Type of event.
Time of year is simple. I don't think anyone wants to get caught serving Corndogs after Labor day. Can you imagine?
Pairing can be more difficult to decide. Stick to burritos when serving full bodied reds. Other than that it is really up to personal taste; a nice french Riesling is perfect to play off of the natural fruit tones of a corndog.
For the event you really have to know your crowd, but for a wedding I would definitely say Corndogs. Serving corndogs will add the whimsy of a carnival, as well as, the sophistication of eating from a stick leaving the fingers unfettered.
Hope that helps. Source(s):
