Someone told me you can fix baked potatoes in a slow cooker. If so how is it done?!

Answers: Well im guessing she probably works and would like to come home to food already cooked, right?

You dont even have to wrap them in foil if you dont want too. Just spray the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray and prick your potatoes and put inside covered crockpot. Cook for 8 hours or until soft. You put them in the slow cooker, turn it on, and cook them slowly. After some investigation I found this. Prick potatoes with a fork. Wrap well in foil. Place in crockpot. Cover; cook on low for 8-10 hours.
* Doesn't make much sense and why would you need to?

But here's what I found

Stab potatoes with fork. Wrap each in foil. Fill slow cooker with potatoes. Cover and cook on High 2 1/2--4 hours. Do not add water.

Uh, why the thumbs down? I cut and paste and at least I cited my source.
