Sorry, misspell in the first sentence. It's supposed to be, "pickle juice". Did you actually pickle the cauliflower, or did you just put raw cauliflower in pickle juice?
If you didn't get sick a month ago and no mold is growing in the jar or the solution (if the solution is cloudy, it's got mold in it), then you're probably okay. That notwithstanding, I would recommend you finsh the cauliflower sooner rather than later and start a new batch. the sad news are nothing lasts 4ever so you mite need to start a new patch soon I don't think so. Not once its pickled. like a cauliflower ear? Even pickled food will spoil eventually but it takes a long time. The cauliflower I have turns blackish when it spoiles. The pickle juice will probably preserve it.
Did you ever try soaking hard boiled eggs in pickle juice? If it's pickled, it'll last forever. My parents had some jars get pushed to the back of the cupboard and I didn't find them for 12 years. They're still perfectly fine. So I'm using them now and put this year's behind them in my cupboard.
