Is there MSG in potato chips?!

Question:

Is there MSG in potato chips?

Answers: definitely in bagged potato chips. It's listed as "monosodium glutamate" in the ingredients on the bag. The mystery thing is Pringle's potato chips which come in a tube still taste blah. Maybe they're not using enough MSG? or they haven't gotten the formula right. Tsk. Most flavoured ones, yes. MSG is sodium.

potato chips have a pretty high salt content.

so yes.

<3 Some, but not all. Read the ingredient list It depends on the brand. Look at the list of ingredients on the package. MSG is monosodium glutemate. The ingredients will say if it is in there.

Look for one of the more natural brands. They tend to be better about not having chemicals. Yes there is. Even in the cheap varieties. And msg can be known as autolized yeast extract and a # of other names.
