You do not. It is too expensive a meat, to practice cooking at home. Go out and eat it and enjoy. it has a better fat marble than other beef, so if you are a good cook and are really wanting to impress someone it could be. No, not in my opinion. In my opinion, it is. Kobe beef also known as Wagyu beef. Breeding Kobe beefs is different from the usual cow breeding. It is said that the cows are hanged by their bodies so that they will not be able to move around, hence their muscles are not toughened. I think they also have special feeds given to them. Kobe beefs are fatter than other beef. This makes them a lot more tender, flavorful and juicy. Harder they are to produce, the higher the price will be. Enjoy your Kobe beef!
