How can I keep my bread from getting hard or soggy when I take it out of the freezer?!

Question:

How can I keep my bread from getting hard or soggy when I take it out of the freezer?

I have a family of 5, so we eat a lot of bread. I buy about 2 or 3 loaves a week. I put one in the refrigerator, and the rest in the freezer so it doesnt get moldy while were not using it.

My problem: When ever I take out a new loaf, I put it right in the refridgerator to thaw. After it does so, it either is really hard, or soggy. The new loaf in there right now is half hard and half soggy! It's terrible because no one will eat it anymore.

I don't have the time to go out and buy a new loaf everytime we run out of bread. So what could I do after I take my bread out of the freezer to keep it from thawing out gross?

Answers: The best way to do it is by instead of putting it right in the freezer let it thaw out on a counter or somewhere else. The bread will be a bit soggy but after just put it in the fridge for a couple hours and you should be good to go. You should also thaw it out before the one already open is gone. So leave it in the freezer and take out slices whenever you need them. If your using 2-3 a week they wont get moldy that quickly, just quit putting them in the freezer. There is really no need to. put it back in when you take it out wait a day or so and then open it.when you take the bread from the freezer the moistire of the breads is froze so when you open it it gets all dry then it un frezzes and the it getts all soggy
