Froze strawberry fruit bars?
I love the Dole strawberry Fruit bars! I have a bag of frozen strawberries and would like to make some very similar to those. I dont know if just blending the strawberries and freezing them in popsicle molds will taste good or not. Has anyone tried this or do you have any good recipes?
Answers: what i do is take the frozen strawberrys and add about a half a cup of orange juice to the blender and pulse not puree so that there are chunks of strawberrys in there and place into popsicle molds and freeze,good luck i love them To piggy back on Sadie's answer this is the best way to make fruit popsicles. Just add orange or apple juice. Make sure that it's 100% juice so that you won't get the unwanted sugars. Add these ingredients into a bowl and taste. If it's not sweet enough then add Splenda or Equal to the mixture and adjust to your taste. You would then add this mixture to your blender and blend to the consistency that's best for you. pour into Dixie cups cover tops with plastic wrap and insert popsicle sticks.
