Answers: Brussell sprouts are yukky! I'm 48 and just gag when they're near me. So, when I serve em up for din din, I pretend to eat em, but really try to feed them to my begging dog. Darn dog! She hates em too and is blowing my cover! because they are good for you. Because some people enjoy them. I absolutely love them ! Give me yours hehe* because that is your parent's way of showing you that they love you. tell them there are other ways and they should look into them. you don't unless your young and you are told to eat them by your parents. LMAO!!! I absolutely HATED them when I was a child. Funny, I don't mind them as a adult. why do you have to eat them? is anyone holding a gun to your, making you? it's ok if you stop eating them......you don't have to like it anyway..... there are a lot better options out there for you to eat...... so many vegetables to choose from. The only veggie I don't like is ocra ....if you like all other veggies ask for a healthy alternative and ooh and ahhh over it .Voila , no more having to eat brussels. Altho loaded w/ butter and or melted cheese they are pretty delectable. because as parents it's our job to make you hate us and everything else as well--now go and eat some spinach too LOL You don't have to eat anything. You can just starve yourself to death. I personally like brusel sprouts, I was the only kid on my block who loved them. But it's a personal choice, find anthoer green food you do like. Because they are full of iron and other brilliant stuff...

They are fabulous, i really dont know why people dont like them.... theyre not so nice when undercooked or when over done and mushy but they are lovely.

Try eating them with a nice sauce perhaps.... just try and see if you can get into them.

They are an 'acquired' taste and once you discover it, you wont be able to get enough of them!! i dont think your have to eat them, i never had a brussel sprout b4. Take them into the garden and hit them with a golf club--its good practise and all they are good for How can you have your pudding if you don't eat your sprouts. try a sweet sauce with them, then you've got your bitter and sweet which should improve your view of them. Cut them in half and fry them with garlic and a sprinkle of sugar. The sugar gets rid of the bitterness.

It's all about preparation.

...mind you, I wouldn't touch 'em with a ten foot pole.
