Question:

Do you ever serve Yorkshire pudding with custard?

Answers: Only to people from Southampton NEVER Yuck! With jam maybe, not sure about custard though? eugh, no, just roast beef and gravy. Only when p*ssed. Yorkshire pudding is the same stuff as pancakes, so why not? never ever! yucky, eugh.... no.....but i mite try it now...good idea!! =P no but i do have a nice jam with one! My favourite - add some apple sauce before the custard - Even better! Who the heck would make pudding out of a dog????
jkjk. No. Isn't Yorkshire pudding something we have with beef dishes? Doesn't seem like it goes with custard. Then again... being creative... popovers filled with custard... hmmmm.... maybe that has possibilities. Urgh! You can serve it with jam or sugar, but not custard! No but it sounds lovely. I have eaten it with jam, after all it's only the same ingredients as pancakes isn't it. No but it's lovely served hot with jam on it. gravy gravy gravy. I dont personally
but some people do, it is a batter, the same mixture as pancakes Nope but i will try anything once lol when i was a kid me and my brother used to have strawberry jam in them No not custard. My wife tells me when she was a child that her mum used to make a huge yorkshire with thinly sliced apple in it, they used to eat it with a little butter an brown sugar. Apparently it was delicious..... hahaha what a clown snack that sounds like Yes Yorkshire pudding was a form of desert that can be served with custard and ice cream. Personally I think it is a N.Urban myth that gets people talking about something that is usually pretty boring. The italians say food is bermisio us English say you want to try it like this. That is all, don't think many have it as a desert other than to prove a point. Only Yorkshire I know is a Pig or a Dog! Why would you serve pudding with custard isn't it the same? sounds gross but u dont know unless u try do u-wud u put gravy on apple pie? my grandmother adds currants & apples to the batter yummyyyyyyyyyyy add cream or custard that a first i've never heard of that one before No but love it with golden syrup I've often thought of trying it, I've had it with jam, syrup, sugar, and cream (not all at the one time) i've even tried it with strawberries and cream, and it was lovely so I don't think custard would be much different.

Wikipedia says that Yorkshire Pudding is often referred to as 'Thunner an Leetning'...........just a little something I thought I would throw in!! yes it's yummy
