Moose, you rock! God Bless Buffalo! Yeah, you can't beat wings from Anchor Bar. I haven't been there in a few years but those things are amazing.
Speaking of which, isn't it strange that in Buffalo, everyone just calls them chicken wings? Source(s):
Buffalo born and bred I've never been to Buffalo. but i've been to Hooters! are they real? Didn't you know? Buffalos don't have wings. I have never been to buffalo, but i think i've had real wings. Ever been to Hooters? they're wings are THE BOMB!!! Don't laugh about my never-had-wings thing. Have u ever had a REAL philly cheesesteak? like from a vendor in Philly? i thought not. I am a former chef from Canada and like the fellow from Buffalo, you have not experienced Buffalo Wings unless you have been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, I have 3 fire hydrants for eating a dozen extra hot wings, they have a number of sauce from mild to wild, but it is the atmosphere and the other things there that make the eating fun.

I mean anyone can make a pale copy or a close second, but they tend to either bread or dip them in flour or cornstarch to have the sauce stick, they do not do that at the Anchor and I have heard people ask why and they just give them a cold stare.
