A recent food colourant study showed that certain E Numbers in our childrens sweets are not allowed in medicines because of serious posible side affects ,yet are given to our children in sweets ( Candy) every day ! How can this be ? Additional Details

Up to now, the first two answers dont make a,any sense to me at all !!! There`s me thinking, it was an awful thing to give to our children when its so bad for them, and yet there are regulations to make sure the same thing doesn`t happen in medication, anybody else understand what i meant ???

The worst thing about those additives is they actually put them into sweets so they look more attractive to children.
We are slowing poisoning our children that is why we have such a rise in the cases of ADHD also we fill them up with hormones from chicken and other sources thats why they are developing and growing faster than we did.
Also when we were kids things that kids have every day now were a luxury or a treat to us we only ever had cool drink on Christmas Day and sweets occasionally. I guess its because that sweets can e just tasted in our taste buds. medicines with sweets are directly taken and stored in the stomach and when digested red blood cells will carry them to our cells and the cells will thought that this is the cure to a certain illness. Wrong answer up there.
Medicines are used to make people better and parents force kids to take it when they're ill.
BUT parents dont force their kids to eat sweets if the kids want some, do they??
Therefore, it's okay for the colourants to be in sweets because they're bought by choice.
Imagine if parents, who are against giving sweets to children, couldn't give their babies medicine because of their beliefs?
That's why.
Sweets are bought in choice...medicine is always a must.
