Blue nerd candy???!
Blue nerd candy???
I recently got this box of nerds and I found a single blue colored one in the box.
I have never seen a blue nerd before and there's only one in the box.
Does this mean something?
Is it a good thing?
Should I just eat it and forget it ever happened???
Answers: No, I think that it's special. Except that you don't get prizes or anything. LOL. I have actually found a few in my box a couple of times. Nothing to be worried about. Nerds are usually pink and purple, right? Well, if you mix blue and red together you get the color purple. That might be the reason why you get a blue one in there. They do it so red/pink candy is identified as whatever it's flavour is. If you had strawberry nerds for example, they toss a few blue ones in to make sure it's obvious what it is (as opposed to cherry for example, where htey wouldn't need a "marker"). They do the same thing with jelly beans so cherry and cinnamon don't get mixed up. Usually the cinnamons get a couple of blues tossed in. Well sometimes when they make nerds in the factory..while they're puting artificial coloring in the candy such as pink and purple, sometimes the colors can accedentally get mixed together and create different colored ones like blue Hello:
Yes,I have found blue nerds before and it really doesn't mean anything,it is just that sometimes they are blue instead of pink or purple! ;-) Perhaps it means you are the chosen one.........
P.S. Probably best to just eat it really.
