Why do eat so much?
I am 25, and weigh 235lbs. Im 5 11, and for some reason have a problem eating large portions of food. Even when Im full, Ill find myself getting hungry later and binging on fatty foods, ice cream, etc. Especially later at night. I dont get why, and Im really upset about it. I wake up with heartburn every morning, I dont like eating breakfast. I do drink a lot of water so I don have achne. I need help. I dont know how to cook that well and dont know how to stop my compulsive need to eat large portions of spaghetti, desserts, etc. I know dieting is usually for women, so any Men have any suggestions for what I can do to make myself not eat as much? Small meals wont help- Ive tried doing that. Eating 6 small meals all day doesn't work- I still find myself hungry and starving!
Answers: I have this problem as well. All you can do really is exercise and train yourself to eat smaller meals. Somehow find a way to change your daily routine so that you don't have long periods of time where you're just sitting at home watching TV or sitting on the computer. I find this is how I get "bored" and eat more than I need to. It helps alot to stop eating fast food and making your own meals. I started watching the Food Network(Rachael Ray mostly) and now I cook all the time. Also, don't go grocery shopping when you're hungry or you'll end up buying a bunch of junkfood. Make an effort to buy healthy foods, like frozen/canned vegetables and chicken/fish. You should also opt for lower fat versions of foods. And drink less soda if that applies to you. That's about all the advice I can think of. oh man that sounds like me a year ago.... dude seriously all it takes is watching what you eat and willpower.... you need will power .....work out. even if it is not alot but just try and do some kind of work out.... give up fast food..... for good.....but do it now....never say ok first thing tomorrow i will start ....start now... quite procrastinating.....you can do it... im positive.. i reached 290 at the most and then one day in the middle of one minute i said ok enough and i quite .... Along with small meals, exercise. I have an eight hour job with no actual breaks. I basically eat all day. About 2 bits at a time I have lost 30 pounds and I'm looking good. Just eat really small portions alot. You might want to talk to a physician you might be addicted to food, either that or you have a fast metabolism. If your not active you might want get your self in a sport or doing something to keep you busy and drink water every day all day. It's not good to skip breakfast because without breakfast your body is still a sleep until you eat a full meal. that's probably why you tend to eat late. But what do I know this is just stuff I have heard you should talk to your doctor. well most of the time you eat cuz your like bored but the key is eat ONLY when you are hungrey.
