I like a lot of lime in mine so lime vodka would ruin it? Absolut Peppar if you want something spicy.
it'll get you going in the morning ;-) smirnoff, don't waste your money on expensive vodkas if you're going to use mixers.
Flavors would be terrible smirnoff has a berry flavor that is berry good :) You're already flavoring your vodka with tomato if you're making bloody mary. Why would you want to add something else?
The ideal vodka has no flavor at all. It's used where you want the vodka to get out of the way and let you taste the mixer. And time after time, Smirnoff's gets the nod for that. As they used to advertise, "Smirnoff's leaves you breathless".
But if you want a *flavored* vodka, try RonRico 151. It's rum-flavored. I prefer Jose Cuervo Gold, but other people seem to think the taste of rum goes better with tomato than the taste of tequila. I agree with the first poster, Smirnoff is THE best vodka and it's reasonably priced. I really wouldn't use a flavoured vodka for bloody marys, all the seasoning that you need is in the mix.
P.S. They do sell peppered vodka, I don't the brand or name, that wouldn't be too terrible if you're really determined to try a flavoured vodka. They'll have it at any liquor store. Aboslute Peppar would be the best Vodka for doing bloody mary's, but that is really the only thing it would be good for, unless you would be doing shots. Smirnoff I think also offers a peppered Vodka, but going in any other flavor for a bloody mary would not be advisable.
