Question:

Why are B.Robins' ice-creams 'tangy?'?

as in like rubber, stretchable like glues....

Answers: I really LOVED the answer from "Thomas D" who obviously has no idea that you are talking about Baskins-Robins Ice cream! lol, but--I haven't eaten the stuff in a long time because there are none of the places where I live. When I lived in Calif., we went there quite often, and it was very, very good--NOT rubbery or stretchable. But, in all these years, just like everything else (to cut corners), they most likely changed several ingredients in their recipes--thus, lowering the quality of this (used-to-be) fine product. They are full of strange chemicals probably. I once worked with a chef who didn't eat icecream at all because he claimed that it had a chemical in it which is also used in paint stripper... didn't think they were Blind Robins are herring that are cured with salt. Hering is a fish. I would not have any idea where the ice cream would enter.
