Question:

What is the normal calorie intake for a 12 year old i want to record mine?

I need to know what the normal calorie intake for a human 12 year old AND DONT TELL ME NOT TO WORRY MY PRETTY LITTLE HEAD ABOUT IT. That makes me so mad.

Answers: twelve years means you are growing so your calorie intake would be higher than an adult of the same size. But calorie intake depends on your size, age, metabolism and activity. If you are very active you will burn more calories so you will need to eat more calories to stay the same weight. If you are heavier, it takes more energy to walk around so bigger people need more calories as well.

Here is a website that estimates needed calorie intake for children. If the page doesn't say "start calculator" then click on "continue"

http://pediatrics.about.com/library/bl_c... 12 year olds shouldn't eat more than 300 calories a day. Iam not going to tell you not to worry your pretty little head, click on the link below and find out.
