Question:

What is a good age to start drinking cofee? why cant i have some now?

Answers: My parents gave us weak milky coffee from when we were about 6. It's probably not very good for you to have it until you stop growing, though, about 18 or so.
Mind you, it doesn't affect meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! your parents are jerks for not giving you coffee 19 Don't drink coffee :/
It makes your breath smell funny and your teeth get stained The good time to start drinking coffee is when your parents allow it.
One of the great reasons to not drink it when you're young is that it is a drug - it has caffein in it and that is a drug. And it's a very powerful drug even though it doesn't seem like it.
Just ask anyone who tries to stop drinking coffee.
They get headaches that last for weeks. They feel nauseous. They're crabby and can't stay awake.
All because of caffein.
So, take your time and give yourself a chance to grow without the aid of any type of drug - even the one in coffee.
And don't even think about decaf coffee. It's gross and no better for you because of the fermaldahyde (the same stuff they use to preserve dead animals) most manufacturers use in the decaffeinating process. I began drinking coffee in the Army, because it was the only available drink other than lukewarm water from my canteen. I am not grateful to the Army for this particular bad habit. ok...I started drinking coffee at about 10 yrs old. My family doctor tried to get me off the stuff at 11, he said it was bad for me and addictive...He was right! I still drink coffee to this day I never stopped. Maybe when u go to college is a good time to start drinking it. There's no good age for that. I don't think there's a problem with drinking coffee if you're a child. I did almost every morning during my whole childhood, like my brothers, cousins, most of my school children.
It was a huge bowl of warm milk with just a shot of coffee but good enough to start me up in the morning.
There's a myth around coffee nowadays because of all those "addicted" to it. It's a nonsense, they're drinking too much, they don't want to drink less than that and call " addiction" something that really is "I want to keep drinking too much coffee". Without the coffee they would get "addicted" to something else (soda, candy, junkies...).

Enjoy your coffee with moderation and you'll be fine. Apply same rule to everything else and you'll be super. i think 17 becz accdn to me till 17 chidln luv drinking milk or teens luv drinking bournvita................ Not a lot of children like the taste of coffee, most seem to enjoy tea for some reason. You don't say how old you are? My mum used to only ever buy tea so that is all we were given. I started drinking coffee around the age of 8 at a friends house, and her mum gave me some to take home fo my mum to try. l took to coffee like a duck takes to water, and by the time I was 11 had stopped having milk or sugar in it! I am a coffee addict now I've reached my half century! lol:-D i drink coffee and im in 5th grade I don't know how old you are? My grandmother used to give me sips of coffee when I was real young. It took me years to actually acquire a taste for it. I guess because of the caffiene, your parents probably don't want you to have it. But, the energy drinks, Mountain Dew, etc have more of a "kick" than most coffees do.
